Getting excited for this one. I think we actually have an opportunity here.

This is going to be unpopular, but.............which Raiola is going to show? I can't do it, I can't. I will wait until halftime, and if things are not completely out of control, I will start watching mid 3rd quarter.

I don't want to sound cocky, but if the offense plays the way it did last week, I think the Ducks win.

It'll be interesting to see what their game plan will be. Probably try to shut down the run and make Raiolo beat them with his arm.
Ohio State still had 464 yards and 25 first downs against USC. I know they only scored 18, but their offense still played well for their backup QB.
They were grinding, though. And pretty inept when USC stacked the box in the red zone. Their offense shortened the game, which I don’t think is a terrible thing for Oregon.

Also, Buckeye fans seem even more nervous about their defense than their offense right now. Got torched by 2 freshman WRs. Gotta let Raiola sling it.

This is the game, if any, to test the limits of the offenses ability to unleash all the weapons the Ducks have. Just getting the ball into the hands of these playmakers SHOULD give any defense fits. Dakorien, JMAC and Jamari are legitimate matchup nightmares. I even stand by the fact that Kendre Harrison is going to be a problem if the ball is thrown his way. The two primary backs, Dierre and Smith, are both electric with the ball in space. Just hope the O line can hold up enough and give Raiola a shot to be comfortable enough to make some plays.

Seems Oregon and Ohio State have similar offensive issues with a backup QB, questionable OC playcalling, and bad OL play.

True, but it was against the porous USC defense.

Yeah not saying you or Wally are wrong, just pointing out they had more first downs against usc than we did.

I think at home if their QB can settle in, their offense should still be solid.

Hoping for the best! Expecting the worst!

Also, in an effort to ensure I set unrealistic expectations and am devastated if/when Oregon loses, I keep reminding myself that USC comfortably beat tOSU last week after getting throttled by Wisconsin the week prior. That same vaunted Wisky offense put up zero points against Iowa the following week.

Transitive property clearly predicts a green wave.
