I would take as many athletes with speed as possible. Speed kills, especially in the spread.

A few days ago it seemed like we didn't have enough rides. Can you fill in some details?
I don't know details but all I know is Nate texted me yesterday that Curtis told him Lowe committed. Jhop made a posted on DT that we will overbook this class if needed.

No surprise though here, we saw this coming weeks ago:

It was just a matter of making room, and like I said in the post above, it sounds like we will be overbooking this class IF needed.

If we did get Lowe, we would have White, Lowe and hopefully Owa, King or both. We would be landing 3 or all 4 of the top players in Oregon. That would be huge.

HELL YEAH! Welcome to Eugene, Keanon!

The '11 class has some pretty good prospects as well.

Even the in-state recruits are good with Lyerla, Coleman, and Scarlett.

dont know but Scarlett and Coleman are studs too. I've read all three will be minimum 4 stars. Colt a 5.

Sure wish Colt would commit early like Coleman.

Yeah no doubt. Starting off with Coleman & Colt would give the class serious momentum to go along with past seasons success. I read somewhere that Colt was at the Rose Bowl decked out in Duck gear chearing us on. Wouldn't be surprised to see him commit fairly soon.

It was just a matter of making room, and like I said in the post above, it sounds like we will be overbooking this class IF needed.
So what does it mean to overbook a class? Does that mean that some people promised scholarships won't get one? I don't understand.

my understanding is you can only bring in 25 total on scholli each yr. But you can sign as many to a LOI as you wish. i.e Huskies with 29. By signining more than 25, you either count on some not qualifying to get into school or you can grey shirt a kid with a signed LOI. By that you have him enroll in Jan and count on next yrs class.

Possible grey-shirts or transfers more than likely, grey-shirts would affect next yrs class.

Don't the JC's that already enrolled count toward last year?
