If the Ducks were to sign both Diante Jackson and Adam Hall to go along with Tuinei, that would be a great WR recruiting class for the Ducks and would make all of the previous hand-wringing and doomsday predictions look very silly.

Unfortunately, it is still possible the Ducks won't get either Jackson or Hall, so the doomsday predictions for WR recruiting could still come to pass.

My predictions remains that if Boyd is a Duck come Monday, Hall will follow. Remember Hall really wants to be a WR and only UO and OS are offering him that chance. AZ, Cal are only offering him as a DB.

If that is true about Hall really wanting to be a WR, why would he really need Boyd to commit? We already have some very good QB's in Masoli, Thomas, Roper and Costa.

Hall was there at the AA Bowl and saw Boyd perform. Hall can relate more to a possible fellow member of his recruiting class than to our current QBs. I agree that a Boyd verbal tomorrow could really boost our chances. Keep in mind that sometimes these kids have 2 or more schools dead even. Any add'l thing that bolsters one of those schools can be just the ticket to push them over the top.

It's starting to sound like the Adam Hall having Oregon on top rumor may actually be true.

On the free board over on educk, An arizona poster said congrats to us for landing a commit (Hall). Steve Summers also mentioned that he's been hearing positive things too (but just rumors at this point).

Even without Boyd, this would be a huge boost to this class if true.

I didn't expect this but he is a Parade All American. I was looking at the list in todays Parade & saw him listed unser WR. He was 1 of only 5 or 6 guys. Not too shabby.

To be perfectly honest I am not all that impressed with Hall as a WR. I posted on Rivals that of the rest of the WR prospects he would be my last choice. I would easily take any of them but he looks quite slow and not a breakaway threat at all.

I would say that the "breakaway threat" WR is more than covered at Oregon with speed burners either coming in or already on the team. We'll need this guy for his size, downfield blocking, hands, and National status as a top flight receiver and not necessarily for his ability to beat someone 1v1 in a sprint.

Don't know if this has been posted, but look at Hall's comments. I bet he will be a duck.

It looks as though Hall is still undecided as of tonight. From what I am hearing he has a surly disposition and he rubs everybody the wrong way. I hope we get him though.
