I think we can all agree we could use a 6'3" 305lb 5 Star DT...

Isn't he related to Fili Moala, the OL from USC? If so, I would think that USC is the team to beat for him.shear_j wrote:I agreeuodux1212 wrote:Can we please get an offer over to Viliami Moala?!?

I really like Colt Lylera, Im not sure what we would recruit him for? He plays every skill position on his team and he is the best at all of them. That kis is a freaking beast. He has the frame to become much stronger.

I say that Kelly would recruit him to play whatever position he wants since his skillset is so diverse and good. He's the type of player that you can't get enough of since he's so versatile.brich75 wrote:I really like Colt Lylera, Im not sure what we would recruit him for? For you guys who want a DT, I think Marshall would be a very realistic option.

He's a little undersized for a DT, but I think the coaches will love his mobility. Oregon has been talking with him a bit, I wouldn't be surprised if he got an offer over the summer.

Seems like we should take at least one more QB in that class also. No?

We'll only have Thomas, Hawkins, and Bennett after this coming season so I think they'll sign at least 1 QB in the next 2 classes since Kelly likes to keep at least 5 QBs on a roster.wheaton4prez wrote:Seems like we should take at least one more QB in that class also. No?

Every class needs one stud QB, no more, no less.greenyellow wrote:We'll only have Thomas, Hawkins, and Bennett after this coming season so I think they'll sign at least 1 QB in the next 2 classes since Kelly likes to keep at least 5 QBs on a roster.wheaton4prez wrote:Seems like we should take at least one more QB in that class also. yeah we should take one QB this class. Wouldn't be surprised if we took a JC or project QB too (kinda like Hawkins or Masoli).greenyellow wrote:We'll only have Thomas, Hawkins, and Bennett after this coming season so I think they'll sign at least 1 QB in the next 2 classes since Kelly likes to keep at least 5 QBs on a roster.wheaton4prez wrote:Seems like we should take at least one more QB in that class also. Using a nice round number of 20 scholarships available(probably more available), here's my ideal breakdown per position:
4 DT's
3 DE's
3 LB's
2 DB's
3 OL
1 QB
1 RB
1 TE
2 Ath
4 DT's
3 DE's
3 LB's
2 DB's
3 OL
1 QB
1 RB
1 TE
2 Ath

He's a hullava player, watched him play in a state playoff game a while back... my dad and I were sitting with a parent of one of Colt's teammates... he was telling us that Colt is all OSU, he has family ties there (alum in his fam?!?)... anyone else know anything about this?

Interesting that he would be all OSU and come to almost every Oregon home game....

This would totally suck if true! From ever comment I have read he is all UO...damn I hope you are wrong!
Colt is close to being my number one target for the 2011 class...TK do you know what the truth is? Thanks.

Re: Scout top 150 up for 2011
That's about what I am expecting with possibly 2 more recruits being WRs with the 2 athletes possibly being split between a DB and another WR.nehalem wrote:Using a nice round number of 20 scholarships available(probably more available), here's my ideal breakdown per position:
