I will say this regarding a switch to a 3-4, NA philosophy is to stop the run at all costs...the 3-4 would be more of a balanced defense (please correct me if I'm wrong) I don't see NA going to this as often as we fans would like. We do use a version of the 3-4 and it never goes well! We need NA out to make this happen properly!

maybe his switch to the 3-4 is more of an agreement with CK for NA to stay. CK probably wants to run it and NA wants to keep his job. NA is a GREAT recruiter so if he can adapt this philosophy and make it successful that could be the objective. It's not likely but sure seems like it.

Lets hope that's the case...because we did hear that CK wants to be more hands on with the defense.

One of the foundations of Gang Green was situational use of the 3-4...
Their reputation speaks for itself.
NA was the DC, but the ass't coaches were all different, and that may well be a large part of the issue.

The new Coach Az...o (whatever his name his) might be the key hire here. Maybe CK sees some changes he wants to implement and the new coach is a key to this.
