Guys, please I look on tale feathers and there are literally six different BOyd threads littered on the page. If you get any links/thoughts/updates toss it in here, let's have one where all the info goes.
That being said.
My heart is saying yes but my mind says no.
I think the Boyds are playing all sides right now and I for one will be happy when this thing is done later today.
I'm thinking once again, distance loses this one for us, and he picks Clemson in a shocker.

I hope this is appropriate on this board - given it is a Boyd board:

But from what I am gathering, we might not get Boyd, Hall, or Brown. Not saying that is the case, but that is the general feeling I am picking up with all the reading I am doing on them. I am not sure about Diante, although he is the one I really want out of all of those left in play, but he remains a Buff, so... Can you give me a rundown on the remaining "real" possible targets outside of the three initially listed? I was keeping up for a while, but now I seem to be overwhelmed with the back and forth data and have lost mental track.

I can only imagine what this kid must be going through right now, trying to weigh all of these decisions which will affect where he is going to live the next several years of his life (a long ways from his family), and all of the factors that will affect that decision. I can't imagine. Hell, I grew up in Corvallis and knew I'd be a Duck from straight out of the womb... so for him, I really can't imagine what this must be like for a kid to have to go through this, with the family and media pressure on top of that. Let's just hope he makes the right one for him and is happy with his decision in the long run and that he has a healthy 5 years at whatever college he goes to. He will be fun to watch, no matter who he plays for. I hope he becomes a Duck for the reasons he has mentioned (Sports Marketing major & life after football, rehabbing his ACL at the medical facility, opportunity to compete for PT relatively early) and that distance isn't the #1 factor that keeps him home. As a guy that is only 40 miles from my parents, I can hardly slight a guy for going to the closest one of the 3, which is 7 hours from his parents. So I wish him luck and hope it all works out for him.

All my life i've faced adversity people talk about me and hate on me but it only gave me that extra motivation..... while people are sitting on their asses talking crap i'm working i'm ready to pick a college and just keep working harder.. the more spotlight i've gotten the more critics i've seen.. who are these short writers and analysts who can't throw a football 15 yards to judge me i've been blessed people take my kindness for weakness but my kindness is the reason i'm blessed you can't please everybody i'm one of the coolest humble people you'll meet so if you don't know me please don't judge me with the lords blessings i feel i'll be successful in whatever i do....... negative people just wait and see.

Sounds like Taj is doing the best he can considering his age and knowledge. It's unfortunate the "system" has to be this way. Probably will have to start educating the kids around kindergarten about what they will face. What happened in the "old days" before all the media hype?

Tinfoil- per my limited capacity of knowledge, I'll share what I can gather on your prospects.
Boyd, we'll know today. We have a 33% chance at him. As mentioned my gut is telling me yes still, but everything I read makes me think distance is going to rear it's ugly head again.
Brown, I'm going to pull a Top Gun quote here- "there are no points for second place". Man does that apply to recruiting. Brown's "handler" Brian Butler is a snake, he is doing everything he can to push Brown to Miami. Brown's brother is there. Whipple is the wild card here. Does he like him, does he not? CK and the RB coach (campbell?) visited Brown last night at his house. They were wanting to know about stability. Obviously we have that advantage over Miami. Could be doubts in their minds. My gut says he should come here, but reasonably I think family wins.
Hall Recent rivals article all but concluded him to Arizona. However it was written by a.................Arizona writer. He's probably 85% a wildcat, which is alright, this kids' ego probably wouldn't fit out of the tunnel onto Rich Brooks field. I would have liked to see him at safety personally.
Diante Jacksonwierd recruitment, but I think he's ours, and that is a HUGE pickup.
SURPRISESSounds like CK and the boys are working some magic and we may have some guys that surprise us, Mops has a better handle here, look for Hasiak, Tjong-a-tjoe, maybe a TX WR, James Johnson. Can Wheaton be swayed by Frost????

I have been reading the posts consistently about Boyd like many others for several days. Reading what he wrote last night makes my heart go out to this poor kid. He seems to have a level head on his shoulder and is under such stress from everybody recruiting him and probably would just like some silence in his life. I do feel for the kid and admire the way he is handling it. I would love to see him come here and think in his heart he wants to but the distance is what kills us again.. just as it did last year with Pryor. I do wish Tajh the best no matter where he goes and would say to him do not let the critics get you down Tajh but keep pushing striving to be the very best you can be. I do hope he becomes a duck. Anyone have any idea as to where one can view his press conference. I should be home and would like to see it. Anyone have an idea? Or have an idea who could contatc to see it.

I was just about to post a link to that report about enrolling in the spring. If in fact that is a quote from him that would lead me to believe that Clemson is out and We are it. Does anyone know the rules for participation in spring drills? Can a player enroll for the fall semester early and participate in Spring drills? If so that would mean that this quote was meaningless!
