I don't blame anyone who transfers. They've already had 2 years WASTED & its a big risk to stick around at a program that is in the dumps right now. I never woulda come here in the first place if I was a recruit, Kyle Singler & Love knew what they were doing.

I don't think it will be Armstead or Jacob since they are sort of a package deal and Jacob no longer has any RS year that he can use if he were to transfer. Longmire is a SR so he's here. I could possibly see Williams or Sim transfer.

It was in the register guard around the time Ernie was fired.

I really hope that Teondre Williams doesn't transfer. He could be a really special player if he keeps up with his academics. I would actually love to see Longmire transfer - completely overrated player. Chamberlin Oguchi transferred after his junior year, so anything is possible.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Crittle transfer due to lack of playing time....maybe to Depaul.

I like Sim, but losing him really wouldn't be a big blow, as long as Williams stays.

Last time I saw him was playing in a "C" league city league basketball game over in Springfield. I think it was with a bunch of his McKenzie friends. It was right before the last home stand of the Pac-10 season. Sort of gave me an inclination that he didn't care much at that point at least what EK thought. For what it's worth he shot the ball well.

Oregon basketball: Drew Wiley to transfer
By John Hunt, The Oregonian
April 13, 2010, 11:54PM

Drew Wiley, a native of Eugene, has decided to transfer from Oregon, according to sources close to the team.

Wiley, a 6-foot-7 forward who would be a junior next season, saw his minutes cut nearly in half in 2009-10. He played only 45 minutes during the Pacific-10 Conference season.

......

Good news. Opens up a scholarship and helps balance the classes out. Best of luck to Wiley.

Just got a text from one of my friends who knows Drew. He said he might be going to Boise State.

Not a big loss, but it still sucks. I felt like Drew Wiley had some potential.

Shame on Ernie Kent for not properly redshirting players. The balance of the roster was horribly distributed. I know Ernie is gone and I hate to keep bagging on him, but just another reason I'm glad we fired Ernie.

This is definitely good for both parties. I never really thought that he belonged in the Pac 10. He had a decent stroke, but he lacked some serious basketball IQ. There was a big disparity between him and Singler.

Singler made Wiley look like a player only recruited to Oregon due to him being local. He always seemed to belong at a smaller school like PSU, BSU, or UP.

Looks like it's official. Best of luck to Wiley with his next team.
