These ref's really want the suns to win this game. I can't stand NBA officiating.

Rudy is worthless, Aldridge is soft and not worth the money he is paid. I mean if we wanted shots from outside the guards would shoot it. You are 6'11 get the ball down low. Oh and maybe try and rebound once a game!!
THE BLAZER'S JUST LOOK SOFT...I will agree that this is horrible officiating!!

Series has been reffed very well, up until today. HORRIBLE, horrible, horrible. The refs really ruined this game. Could have been a 6-8 point game going into the 4th.karlhungis wrote:These ref's really want the suns to win this game. I can't stand NBA officiating.

Rudy's playing like he wants to be somewhere else next season.
When the ref's are as bad as they we're tonight, for me, the games are unwatchable. And I won't like them any better if they do the same thing to PHX on Thursday.
Roy and Miller really, and I mean really play bad together. I blame Roy and I don't know what you do about it short of Roy learning how to alter his role when playing with Miller.
Aldrich disappoints me. I know it's not in his makeup to be the type of player whos uses his 6'11" gift of a body around the basket, but I was hoping to see him in the paint a little more-rebounding. Hell Cunningham and Bayless seem to spend more time in the paint than Aldrich does.
Did I convey how much I hate NBA refs. The worst offciating of any of the three magor sports by far.

Seriously. That game just killed my interest in the playoffs. Their refs are the main reason I don't like the nba that much. Its not that they just suck, its that they purposely control the game. No other refs are allowed to do that but in the nba thats part of the job. Control the tempo & style of the game by calling everything. Last nights game was unwatchable. Just like almost every nba game.nehalem wrote:Rudy's playing like he wants to be somewhere else next season.

All true. When I watch the NCAA tournament and I'm just as vested in the teams I care about as I am the Blazers, I don't really notice the refs as much. Sure their are bad calls made, but it isn't somehow, so glaring or intentional.

Re: Blazers Talk
Taking out Camby clearly killed the momentum for us. The biggest problem with the blazers right now is they don't have a backup center! Check out the +/- on Camby all these games. When he's in, we play much better. When he's out, they get a billion offensive rebounds! There's no way you can win when the opposing team has like 10 more offensive rebounds then you. Refs blew it.dthomas=ddixon wrote:Seriously. That game just killed my interest in the playoffs. Their refs are the main reason I don't like the nba that much. Aldridge, Roy, and Dre were fine. Aldridge shot over 50%, what else do you want? Dre did his part, and Roy was battling foul trouble all game as well.
Refs and piss poor rebounding (thanks to the refs for taking Camby out) are really why we lost. Even the rebounding out, and even the calls out, and you got an even game!

Aldridge shot over 50 percent what more do you want? How about act like you are 6'11 and try to get a rebound. He stood around on numerous play's and watched phoenix get second and third chance points! He plays like a sissy la la.. This would be such a different series if we had Pryzbilla. Of course he would probably only get a few minutes because of these jokes they are calling refs.UOducksTK1 wrote:Taking out Camby clearly killed the momentum for us. Re: Blazers Talk
His rebounding numbers do suck, but that's because he's outside shooting jumpers. And honestly, that's one of our main sources of offense at this point, which is pretty sad. And it's kind of hard for LA to outrebound Louis, Frye, Amare, and Collins when Camby is out with 2 fouls early. Juwan Howard had 0 rebounds and played like 10 minutes yesterday.brich75 wrote:Aldridge shot over 50 percent what more do you want? How about act like you are 6'11 and try to get a rebound. I really think Pendergraph is going to have to play more. Because we need another big body in there when Camby is out.

Ya, Don't get me started on Howard. The only thing he is good for is putting the other team on the fowl line when there is 2 seconds left on the shot clock. I agree about J.P. At least he will get physical and not be pushed around like a little punk. That being said I think he would foul out in 6 plays lol!
Bottom line is that this team is obviously incomplete. We have some good people in place but we need a player that can dominate down low. Is that ODEN? We don't know because he can't stay healthy. We know that it is NOT Aldridge though. Rudy is dead weight the only time he shines is when we are up by 20 in the fourth quarter.

Considering the major injuries the Blazers had, I think they had a successful season. I don't follow the NBA all that closely. Besides staying healthy, what do the Blazers need to be better next season?
