Altman pursuing another guard?

"Been asked if Tyrone Nared is 3-2 or 2-2. He informed me 2-2."

Anyone knows what he means by this?

I would be shocked if Nared doesn't commit to Oregon, if given an offer.

He doesn't have a redshirt year available. He's got 2 years to play, thats it.

I have a feeling that is the case. He was committed to Altman so I think that he already is leaning towards joining him. He's probably just using the trip to see the school and city to make sure it's alright for him.

Thanks for the clarification. I'd expect to hear something about Nared and Heslip in the next day or two.

Also, Eric Moreland, a visitor that Mops mentioned, is possible if one of them doesn't choose Oregon or we see another transfer.

Mops posted on his Twitter that he doesn't think Heslip will be picking Oregon. That leaves open another scholarship for a two-player combination of Nared, Cain, and Moreland or the remaining scholarships will be left open for next season's (2011) recruits.

Per Mops twitter, Oregon could be adding another recruit to the 2010 class. Any speculation of who that could be?

Altman was quoted in the Register Guard as saying he wasn't pursuing anyone else this year. Maybe he didn't want to tip his hat or this recruit came out of left field.

heslip has said that Utah State is his first choice, but I think Oregon still has a chance.
