Sounds like he will be a big time recruit. His film is pretty impressive to.

Its funny you mention Brown. I was debating on if he should be in my top 10 at number 10 or not because I've heard hes going to be a stud. I decided to keep him out right now simply because of the Oregon connections. I debated hard on including him.

OO has to be #1 IMO, I really don't see how he won't be a 5*.

I realize we've had guys that are fast. Grant has the fasted start up speed I've ever seen us land on film and he runs a 4.25 before which we havent had at all.

I've heard varying reports of Grant's 40 time, all the way from 4.2-4.3'ish, and even a purported 4.19. Definitely a speedster, no doubt, but nothing really in terms of solid evidence to corroborate what his 'real' 40 time is.

J.Stewart proclaimed he could run a 4.3 flat, but only ran a 4.48 40 in the NFL combine. At the EOD, we won't really know how fast Grant is until we see him at the D-1 level.

Now that my voice of reason has spoken, E.Grant is by far my FAVORITE RECRUIT of 2010!

J-Stew reported he could run a 4.34 hand-timed. J-Stew ran a 4.48 with a toe that required surgery. Pretty damn impressive. I'm guessing he would've been in the 4.4-4.42 range.

That list is pretty impressive. I think that if Oregon can get at least half of that list, this class could easily be a top-20 class. I think the players that I think Oregon should really go after are O.O., Martin, and Jones. From what has been said about Jones, he sounds like a complete player and would really be able to contribute right away. Martin seems like the type of player that could easily find himself playing in situational plays his freshman year and contributing a lot more his SO year. The only thing that worries me about him playing at Oregon is that our LB depth is so deep that it might be harder for him to contribute and that might push him away. O.O. is a definite need along the DL. Keeping the in-state talent is a must for Oregon. O.O. could see immediate playing time at Oregon as a freshman since the depth there doesn't seem that great.

Mops, I asked this in another thread but you didn't reply. Do you really think we'll take 3 LB's? We're already getting 3 in this class, seems like that's a TON of depth

I was thinking that too. Maybe there's been a shift towards the 3-4 that we don't know about yet, especially with the hiring of the d-line coach from Marshall.

Yes I think we take 2-3 Linebackers.

The west coast is loaded with talent up and down at LB and some guys like Cain and Brown are more like a hybrid who can slide into DE in passing situations and yet also play LB.

Mops, I respect your knowledge but...Devon Dunn, (5'-11 - 175 lbs RB/CB, Lincoln HS in San Diego) will be a very high priority for UO in 2010. He should be in your top 10 ten list.

I have heard twice that we will recruit him (from an exceptionally reliable source) I have personally seen a UO coach scouting him.

A source stated that he is a national caliber player and all the west coast school will recruit him. I've watched him play, we want this kid. lighting fast, elusive, and a scary returner.

Get him on your radar.

ANd the fact the you think we have a legit shot with that list is whats really impressive...2010 could be a ridiculous recruiting year!
