Does Bryce Want to Play in the Spread?

Post by GoDuckYourself »

Bryce played in a shotgun read option system this year in high school and again in the AA game, but played in a conventional under center pro-style offense the first 3 years in high school. I kind of get the sense that he prefers the pro-style vs the shotgun read option, and this post on the Miami board seems to reflect that:

Thoughts?

He has always said he prefers a Pro, and Oregon is the only spread he would consider. So yes to say he prefers the pro is correct, but it's not new and does not put us at any disadvantage currently.

Excellent question. Only he really knows the answer.

From my experience, playing RB, when I was a youngin', the only thing that mattered was that I got the ball....I was going to make a play regardless of the formation, blocking schemes, etc.

Bryce may feel differently, but running is running IMO.
