Nick Montana
What's the story with him and Oregon?
I know that he and his father (Joe Montana) attended the Oregon/UCLA game in 2008....but I don't see Oregon listed on either his scout or rivals profiles.
Is Oregon interested in him at all and vice versa?

Re: Nick Montana
I don't think he is an ideal fit for the Oregon offense, so I would think it would be a mutual decision by both parties to look in a different direction. However, I don't speak for the coaches.

The last info I read was that he was not that high on our list as we were not that high on his. Seems less likely and I think we are way more interested in Shreve.

Re: Nick Montana
Just a guess here, but I think he goes to either Stanford or Notre Dame...
I'll admit though as a BIG 9ers fan, I would LOVE to get him.. just not sure he fits in our system.

Plays in my neck of the woods, Nick is much better than his older brother who didn't star for De La Salle and is now a walk on at Notre Dame. Think you might be confusing them, becaues Nick had a great year and is only a Junior. He beat out a Senior transfer from St. Bonnie and Wayne Gretzky's son, who is only a frosh. He will light it up next year, but yeah like someone else said... he doesn't really fit our style and word is he likes Stanford early.

He is a frosh with Gretzky's son. We will start hearing about him in the next couple years I imagine. Another interesting note... Snoop Dogs son will be a QB at LB Poly, still young though.echo31 wrote:Isn't Will Smith's son a WR on his Nick Montana's team?

So Stanford is just going to bust out a different 4-5 star QB for every class? First Luck, then Nunes, now Montana? Stanford?!

Just remember: The Ducks have an impossible logjam at QB for these recruits to even think they can attempt to overcome...
