I understand that the coaches are going after Wheaton pretty hard, trying to get him to switch from the beevs to us. Is there a chance that we get him back? With a WR coach hired on & Phlugrad maybe staying in the Athletic Department, is there a realistic chance that we can get him?

Re: Markus Wheaton
I would say no. But that's just my educated guess.

Re: Markus Wheaton
According to Moseley, Bellotti is interested in keeping him around in some fashion.

Re: Markus Wheaton
To me, this is just another in a long line of examples of why I like MB so much. MB knows that Pflu has 2 kids doing important things at the University (Aaron on the FB team and his sister on the Cheer Squad). To MB, this business doesn't have to be "cut throat" and you don't throw good people in the garbage if they didn't quite make it in their current position. Good people deserve a second chance elsewhere if it's near something that is important to them. MB will do everything he can to keep the Pflugrad family together at the University and moving Robin to another position helps that happen.ARGHimaPirate wrote:According to Moseley, Bellotti is interested in keeping him around in some fashion.
