When the ref's are as bad as they we're tonight, for me, the games are unwatchable. And I won't like them any better if they do the same thing to PHX on Thursday.

Roy and Miller really, and I mean really play bad together. I blame Roy and I don't know what you do about it short of Roy learning how to alter his role when playing with Miller.

Aldrich disappoints me. I know it's not in his makeup to be the type of player whos uses his 6'11" gift of a body around the basket, but I was hoping to see him in the paint a little more-rebounding. Hell Cunningham and Bayless seem to spend more time in the paint than Aldrich does.

Did I convey how much I hate NBA refs. The worst offciating of any of the three magor sports by far.
Seriously. That game just killed my interest in the playoffs. Their refs are the main reason I don't like the nba that much. Its not that they just suck, its that they purposely control the game. No other refs are allowed to do that but in the nba thats part of the job. Control the tempo & style of the game by calling everything. Last nights game was unwatchable. Just like almost every nba game.
Taking out Camby clearly killed the momentum for us. The biggest problem with the blazers right now is they don't have a backup center! Check out the +/- on Camby all these games. When he's in, we play much better. When he's out, they get a billion offensive rebounds! There's no way you can win when the opposing team has like 10 more offensive rebounds then you. Refs blew it.

Aldridge, Roy, and Dre were fine. Aldridge shot over 50%, what else do you want? Dre did his part, and Roy was battling foul trouble all game as well.

Refs and piss poor rebounding (thanks to the refs for taking Camby out) are really why we lost. Even the rebounding out, and even the calls out, and you got an even game!
Aldridge shot over 50 percent what more do you want? How about act like you are 6'11 and try to get a rebound. He stood around on numerous play's and watched phoenix get second and third chance points! He plays like a sissy la la.. This would be such a different series if we had Pryzbilla. Of course he would probably only get a few minutes because of these jokes they are calling refs.
His rebounding numbers do suck, but that's because he's outside shooting jumpers. And honestly, that's one of our main sources of offense at this point, which is pretty sad. And it's kind of hard for LA to outrebound Louis, Frye, Amare, and Collins when Camby is out with 2 fouls early. Juwan Howard had 0 rebounds and played like 10 minutes yesterday.

I really think Pendergraph is going to have to play more. Because we need another big body in there when Camby is out.
I really hope our extra big bodies come from Joel and Greg when they get healthy.

Can't believe Allen fired Pritchard as GM. Worst move by him ever. Too much politics and ego involved in this decision.

No kidding. Although, his pre draft maneuvers to land a SG at 22 seems a bit questionable. If Allen can find an improvement over Pritchard we will be Finals bound in no time. I just don't see that happening though.

I'm glad you guys are talking about this. I signed the petition yesterday to keep KP and sent off emails to the Blazers and the Vulcans. I'm really pissed off about this; especially when the Oregonian lists the possible replacements. Those guys aren't even close to being in the same league as KP. Everything about this was classless and bush-league and they've effectively weakend this franchise. If this is only about Pritchards getting all the accolades(which he totally deserves), then shame on Allen.

I watched Larry Miller, the team president, discuss Pritchard's firing and he was as slimy as any other team executive. His explanation left a lot to be desired and made it look like there were some issues that he knew would not go over well with the fans and press.

I saw that too, and got the same impression. My petty, vindictive side wants to see somebody in our conference get KP and Penn. This is all really strange for me to be this loyal to a GM; to a lessor extent, the only other examples of Gm's I've liked are Billy Beane and Lenny Wilkins.

As much as he tried to tell everyone that he didn't want to be GM, it showed on his face and in his words. He wants the credit for getting the Blazers to a higher level and to be Allen's right-hand man. I don't see how they can keep the culture that Pritchard created with the people that Allen has left in the organization.

I will miss Pritchard the draft whiz, but I will not miss Pritchard the GM the other 364 days of the year. People have NO IDEA how lucky Pritch got when Hedo Turkeyglue renegaded on his commitment and chose Toronto over us. That would have been a horrible, horrible blunder, both financially and on the court, and that was Pritch's "ace in the hole"/blockbuster idea. Blah. He falls in love with his own players and has turned away several offers the past few years that made good basketball sense.

Drafts might not be as fun, but I think our personnel decisions will improve with a less passionate/more objective GM. So essentially, I'm not too upset about this.

It's all the Vulcans...there gonna dismantle this team and franchise...they want to make it more profitable but they think the way to do it is to have smaller salaries and get rid of players...It's just plain stupid...The writing has been on the wall for a few months now...It's really frustrating

This is a little melodramatic. If this were true, we wouldn't have paid so much to LaMarshmellow last July/August.

Thats one of the things there so upset about...both him and Roy's deal...Roy isn't Lebron, wade, Bosh or Melo and they didn't get max deals directly after there rookie contracts...That was the end for him

Don't know much about the new GM, Rich Cho, but sounds like a real up-and-coming guy who has gotten a job he deserves. Let's see if he can match or even top Pritchard. If he can't, then firing Pritchard will look all for not.
