Re: Tajh Boyd
It has been posted that he will have a press conference on Tuesday to announce where he will go and it has been speculated by Duck fans that it will be Oregon. Then again, it is speculated by suckeye fans that it will be Ohio State.
Do you have anything solid on this or is this just a hunch?

I hope you are correct. Hopefully tOSU doesn't decide to open up the checkbook between now and then.

Personally I have seen and gotten really good info from seanduck. So if he sounds pretty positive, this coupled with others saying the same thing. I'll bite.

If this does in fact happen, has there been a bigger commit for the Ducks since Stewart? I can't think of one unless in hindsight you count Masoli who saved this past season for us.

Re: Tajh Boyd
Well, Justin Thompson was a recent 5* recruit that was at one point counted towards two different classes, so I guess that would make him a 10* recruit. Those don't come around every day.SurfDuck wrote:If this does in fact happen, has there been a bigger commit for the Ducks since Stewart? This press conference on Tuesday, do we know if it's being televised? hopefully on ESPN, so the whole world can watch..karlhungis wrote:It has been posted that he will have a press conference on Tuesday to announce where he will go and it has been speculated by Duck fans that it will be Oregon. I don't know how many people remember but tOSU fans and media were pissed when Hairston choice UO over osu and I imagine it will be the same sour grapes if Boyd does indeed choice to be a Duck.

We can never have too much talent. I can't help but wish we had the problems of USC (HS stars backing up all-americans)

Re: Tajh Boyd
Watch what you wish for, just give it a few more season.. IF we can land Boyd and Brown this year.. IMO we're starting to get pretty stacked at RB and QB, and with LB's and with a few WR commits those positions are looking strong. My only BIG ?, DT's?sickaduck wrote:We can never have too much talent. I can't help but wish we had the problems of USC (HS stars backing up all-americans)

DT is the one position I was hoping for Oregon to really make up some ground on.

Re: Tajh Boyd
I would love to have the problem of being TOO stacked and let CK figure out what to do with everyone. The defensive studs would be a huge assest as well, especially with our "scheme"...scaredhitless08 wrote:Watch what you wish for, just give it a few more season..
