6'4" 190lb 4.5 forty,i smell a wide receiver prospect if he doesnt work out as a qb...Im sure we will pick him up on his athletic ability alone..
Maybe he is a 2star qb but a 5 star athlete?

According to the second link, ya

I just don't see why we waited until two days before signing day to give this kid an offer. If we really wanted him and he really was a diamond in the rough, we wouldn't of gone through so many other options before giving him an offer

If you read some of those articles you will that this was Scott's Kid who was committed going to Northern Iowa. With him on are staff know It opened the door to bring him in.

well he's probably a rs candidate anyway so I don't think it's really important to know what position he plays right now anyway.

Northern Iowa? Sorry, but something seems off here, especially if he is being brough in as a qb.

I agree, with his measurements a year of learning the system and getting bigger, faster, stronger, could make this kid a stud for us..

And I will say this again, teams that expect to compete for national championships do not bring in all of these "diamond in the rough" guys.

No worries. If the coaches offer the kid and think he's Duck material, it's okay with me.

We're not at that level yet where we are going to get consistent Top 25 classes. The last time we were in a BCS bowl was 2002. The teams that expect to compete for national championships and don't bring in the diamond in the rough guys are USC, LSU, Oklahoma, Ohio State and we're not there yet.
