Poll: Stanford Kickoff Time

Post by ChazR »

Rumor has it that if Gameday comes to Eugene next weekend, the kickoff will be moved to 5pm and nationally televised.

My question is ONLY for those of us that already have tickets to the Stanford game: Would you rather have the Gameday crew in town and an earlier kickoff, or does the latest(in my memory) kickoff ever in Autzen sound appealing because of the alcohol fueled party atmosphere?

I would actually choose the latter. I'm in a group of 4 coming down and we already have a hotel room for Saturday night. We all know how crazy it can get during night games...and I'm expecting a ton of shenanigans.

GameDay.

Although, unless Texas/OU bomb it this weekend, I can't see GameDay showing up.

I know, the poll's not working is getting annoying. I'll talk to AJ about it.

Thanks

Not even close for me, gameday always. And anyway, I would prefer a 5pm start over an 8:15pm start regardless if gameday would come or not.

Definitely 5PM. 8PM sucks for me, MFRDuck Fan, in traveling from Medford. :ugeek:

Game Day- always. Great exposure for the program and from my experience Game Day definitely brings the crazy, fun atmosphere!

Then again this is coming from a fan that loves any game in Autzen and never leaves until the game clock reaches 0:00.

GAMEDAY!!! But that game's gonna be crazy regardless of the presence of gameday. This is really the first home game. New Mexico and PSU don't count. I'm so jacked.

Autzen is gonna be popping. If Oregon or Stanford lose this weekend, I'm going to be mighty angry. I want an undefeated matchup with a massive recruiting basketball/football weekend. Games like these are why I love college football.

Game Day all the way....As long as they dont use the Cas parking lot again for it!

That would be an easy move from Idaho to Oregon. But I would be suprised if they didnt go to Texas v Okla or Florida v Alabama who play next week too.
