Mops just tweeted some European is joining Oregon as a freshman. No name, who could it be?

As a freshman? Weird, last week he said it was going to be a 1 to play 1 guy, great to hear it's a fr. I have no idea who it is, but Matt had said he was a big, so that's a much needed player right now. Even if he's a big stiff, put him in and hope he can clog up the key to stop easy basket's, and give the starters some rest.

THe problem with European bigs is that so many of these guys have already layed at the international level, some in the Euro Junior pro leagues.

It is also very hard to track information on any of these guys on the internets.

At 6'9, 230 lb Nikolla Saladi of Serbia may be an interesting prospect...

If this is true, then that probably means Altman will only be taking 2 more players for the 2011 class. He already has Kingma, Barron, and Kuemper so that leaves space for probably one more wing and one more post player.

from what we've heard about DA's offensive system, a mobile big man will be good for us.

To top it off, Breunig has a knack for being in position for everything coming off the glass. His feet and size allow him to avoid the box out with great frequency.
