Darren Wolfson, a Minneapolis based ESPN contributor who covers the T-Wolves, is saying that deal was never actually on the table. It's very very quiet and looks like they're just gonna sit on this team and roll with the punches and stay under the cap. From the sounds of things, they may end up starting the new rookie that they signed. It doesn't sound like anything serious is in the works for acquiring a starting caliber center.
