It's not clear. I read that Battle was going to commit but wanted to visit Ole Miss out of obligation. Several thought Ezeike would have committed already.

There is a lot of speculation because of the possible forthcoming commit of Crocker as to "what happened with the others"

Would be disappointed missing out on Harrison and the 3 DL in unlikely, but if we land the top 5 guys on that list, would be a very good class outside of the D-Line.

It would be a lot of BIG WR/OL the likes of we haven't had much around Oregon. Those would seemingly be the standout positions, along with safety and TE. Keeping Spencer Webb was outstanding. The QB/RB/LB/DB positions would all be solid. Only whiff would be at the DL spot, which is at least in some part due to Taggart.

Anyone know the story with why the kid from Idaho committed to Ohio State? Tommy T?

I've long held that you evaluate a class by combining it with the class before. So here we go. Overall, this is shaping up to be a good looking class from that perspective.

The reason I can't but harp on D-Line is it's probably the most important recruiting position in CFB.

Bama, UGA, Clemson, Ohio State...those guys KILL it in D-Line recruiting. We had Buckner/Armstead and that was great. We can't be losing Poly kids from Idaho across the country, and in-state kids like Marlon to USC, whiffing on the Hawaii/Cali kids if we want to be a top 15 program again.

Anyway, I do hope most of this is just Taggart recruiting all those Florida DL, but it's something to keep an eye on for 2019 recruiting. MUST hit on the DL with at least some 4* kids.
