But any guesses on who signs on signing day? Any surprises? Insight as to who Leavitt was taking about, the surprise ?

I believe he was referring to DJ Johnson. He also visited Merlin Robertson this week (but I am not hopeful there).

Has anyone seen the lack of interest all of a sudden in Malcom Lamar? Tennessee is no longer pursuing him and neither is Oregon.

DJ filled that need (and is much better).

The names not too often being discussed where we have a great chance are Jackson Cravens, Tyler Manoa.

The Ducks are also in it for Tre'Shaun Harrison, Joshua Moore & Olaijah Griffin.

And the too often discussed lack of WRs Jalen Hall, Devon Williams, Miles Battle & Michael Exeike.

Appears that slick is really putting the full court press of sending groups of coaches to visit harrison every week. It does not appear we are allocating as many coaches and time to visiting harrison, or that's what it appears from information that's available on social media/internet. His last OV is to FSU, which is not good being that slick is one of the best closers. But it would be extremely satisfying if we sent our entire staff to visit him right after he returns from his FSU OV, close the deal with him, and stick it to slick.

We also have a snowball's chance with:

For those that aren't caught up, it looks like there's about 7 spots left with room for 8-9 if 5 stars come knocking.

DT: Tyler Manoa, Moro Ojomo, Jackson Cravens, Coynis Miller.

DE: Jeremiah Martin, Habbakuk Baldonado.

OL: Penei Sewell.

DB: Olaijah Griffin.

RB: Jashaun Corbin.

There might be some surprises as well. The coaches are out in full force, and although the early signing period has changed things there are always shake-ups before NSD. We might hear some new names, but that's not a bad list to choose from.

If we have six spots I think a realistic prediction is Devon Williams, Miles Battle, Michael Ezeike, Issah Crocker one of those DTs and one of those DEs.

I really, really hope Tre'Shaun Harrison comes back. I don't remember liking a NW prospect this much, he reminds me of a bigger DAT. If he goes to FSU I will be convinced that Willie told him he was leaving before the others so he could look honest to him and get him to Tallahassee.

Harrison strikes me as boom or bust for some reason.

I counted him because he's a 3 for 3 AND he takes a scholarship and we know how close to the threshold we are for those.

Additionally, he is a rush specialist and finally, he is one of the reasons we stopped recruiting Malcom Lamar.
