K.J. Costella goes 43/59, but throws 3 picks.

Pretty sure Couged It is still the preferred nomenclature.

Hey now, hey now. If we're going to be accurate, this is actually what we used to refer to as a Clemsoning.

Coug'ing it is when you snatch defeat from the jaws of victory; finding a way to lose when winning seems like all but a certainty.

Clemsoning is when you seem to have turned the corner as a program only to sh*t the bed when everyone expects you to succeed. It's even in Urban Dictionary. It's getting a bunch of attention only to get whooped. https://www.urbandictionary.com/define. ... Clemsoning

Gosh I’m so glad Leach is out of the PAC-12. Have fun with him SEC! Hopefully he continues to wreck the SEC’s chances of getting teams in the playoffs.

Looks like people might have gotten a little carried away in terms of Leach tearing up the SEC. Not only has his team's Week 1 performance proven to be highly overrated, against an embarrassing defense, but things have completely gone off the tracks with his offense since then. His offense didn't put up a single point against a mediocre Kentucky team (MSU's only 2 points were on a safety). Now Leach is talking about purging malcontents from the roster. I wouldn't be so sure there is going to be a happy ending to Leach's stint in the SEC.

Very similar to Leach's start at WSU. Blamed players, drove off his best talent, lost a ton of games, but in a couple of years started improving. Even when he turns the corner he'll still pack some of the conferences best wins and incredible losses into the same season.
