So #8, #9, #10, #14, and soon #17 (Cincy trailing Utah by a decent margin) all are going down today. Would have liked to see Florida hold on against Georgia, but again, winning is a skill that the SEC bottomfeeders don't have. Oregon won't move up, but their room for error gets arguably better. I still think they're SOL with two losses, but USC surviving helps.

it looked like UGA got a favorable call on a deep pass in that game late in the 4th quarter. From a 30 second clip, it looked like it should've been a completion so there's some ref interference there too.

I was wondering... if FSU gets rid of Norvell, would he be a good OC here? Wasn't he recognized for being a good OC prior to being HC at Memphis? Lanning and Norvell have a close personal/professional relationship, but the dynamic could be awkward, as Lanning always worked under Norvell in the past. [But such a dynamic never stopped Ryan Day from hiring CK; they went on to win it all]

All true, should allow Iowa-to sneak in the top 25 tho. Make slightly better optics for the game next week. Ranked vs ranked.
