Re: Week 10 CFB
A lot of ranked teams going on the road. It feels like it's only a matter of time before Virginia loses, so maybe it will come this week after the long trip to Berkeley.
There haven't been a lot of great nightcaps this year, probably tied to the demolition of the Pac-12, but Cincy @ Utah could be a fun game.
Kansas State is starting to play their best football. After starting the year 1-3, they're now up to 4-4 with comfortable wins over Kansas and TCU. If Texas Tech drops that game, they're out of the playoffs.

Re: Week 10 CFB
Until Drew Allar went down I had a thought Penn State could win this game in spite of everything else.
Now, it would take one helluva Defensive effort + RB's breaking out.
I get the feeling the USC/Nebraska game could be wild, as far as most entertaining games goes.

Yeeeeeesh. Might be more appropriate to put that one on Carson Beck (again), but Cristobal definitely has a knack for getting up for the big games and dropping the lesser ones.OregonFan4Life wrote: Sat Nov 01, 2025 12:58 pm Miami has been Cristoballed!

I thought SMU had a shot, and with this many ranked teams on the road, you knew it would happen to someone. Aside from Miami itself, this appears to hurt Notre Dame pretty badly.

True, I actually wasn’t able to watch this game courtesy of Disney’s crap with YouTubeTV. I actually met sone Georgia fans at a work conference in North Carolina the last couple years and they HATE Beck. They said he is so cocky and oftentimes would spend Friday nights at the bar, he will look amazing sometimes but because of his bad attitude when he faces controversy he just folds. That’s showing to be true at Miami.StevensTechU wrote:Yeeeeeesh. Mario and Beck is an all-time choke artist duo. Yet another brutal loss for Cristobal.

Given how the quality of the ACC stacks up against the BIG and SEC, does this loss take Miami out of the playoff, without some serious magic?

I'm gonna guess that 2 Big12 teams get in, and on l only the ACC champ. I see the breakdown as 4 B1G, 4 SEC, 2 BIG12, 1 ACC, 1 G5

Re: Week 10 CFB
Do we know what the quality of the ACC is? Do they have some embarrassing losses out of conference by their top teams? Frankly, if Georgia Tech beats Georgia, theres gonna be a really strong argument for 3 teams.pdxduck2013 wrote: Sat Nov 01, 2025 1:14 pm Given how the quality of the ACC stacks up against the BIG and SEC, does this loss take Miami out of the playoff, without some serious magic?
