How many players are the coaches going to be signing this year? The full 25 allowed or just below/above that? It seems more and more like this class will end up with about 23-24. If the Ducks get DT Justin Brown, Boyd, Hall, and D. Jackson, that makes 24 recruits. If we miss out on a couple, then the class will be smaller unless we sign some more unknown recruits like we usually do.

Ah, yes... that makes more sense. I looked at the first Justin Brown on the Scout prospect list which is a stud WR that would be a great fit for our offense.... I guess it was wishful thinking.

Do any of you know if we have any shot at this guy? Look at his offer list out of high school.

Mops, do the coaches think they are going to miss out on several of the skill position players and that is why they are after more OL? I thought they were only going to take 3 OL, but that didn't make sense since 5-6 scholarship OL graduated this past year.

Are the OL guys we're making a run at the guys Brown said he was paying attention to? Maybe it's another effort to land BB?

mops,

is it possible, such as in the instance of boyd and other high profile recruits, that if they secretly commit, they are instructed by their respective coaches where they committed, to hype and create the drama in their announcement for publicity sake, when in fact they have already made a secret commitment.

this is to garner national interest from other recruits.
