Cignetta putting on a clinic and Lanning drowning in a kittie pool. It is what it is.

Good for Indiana but man, this is our new reputation going forward.
Teams are about to start copying their model, building from the portal and not HS. Texas Tech also provided data that it's a viable strategy.

I hate to say it but this was already our rep, and we're seeing exactly why. As an alum I'll never support another school, but every year this happens it gets harder and harder.

Not sure I’d be heartbroken. I know NFL scouts love Dante but what has he done for us to show he’s a great QB? He has so much arm talent but dude is just so mentally weak.

Yea I love the kid but he folds with ANY pressure whatsoever.

Meh, it’s our coordinators. Lanning is a great coach, I trust that, but Tosh and Stein leaving is a blessing in disguise as now he can upgrade at coordinators. It’s incredible how for the 3rd year in a row both of our coordinators are getting outclassed in a rematch with a natty at stake.

That’s game. Tough to see our team continue to play like this on the big stage. Lanning needs to grow from this.

I honestly don't get it. Lanning spend 5 years building this team, and we get dismantled so easy but a guy who's been there 2 years. This isn't even a game.

Could be worse than the ass stomping they put on Bama. I sure hope the NFL is ringing Cignetti’s doorbell hard. I’m done with this dude.

The fact that Cristobal is playing for the title while we get trounced yet again in the CFP is a tough pill to swallow.

Sorry, but this is an insufferable fucking take. I hate how quickly fans turn on guys. Heaven forbid young QBs make mistakes. You don’t think he can improve with an extra offseason of work? I hate that people expect young guys to be finished products. This was the risk of going with a young guy instead of a finished product that was a 5th year senior. Game experience is the way QBs learn. You can’t just expect them to be finished products from practice squad reps.

Welp. Gross game. Team needs to adjust.
I wasn't wrong about the offense.
Stein is trash. Internal hire makes me doubt that Lanning has enough self awareness to know that he needs to adjust.
We might be in a James Franklin-Penn State situation here. Nobody is willing to be honest about Lannings shortcomings.
