We'll see how he does recruiting wise over the next few years but I think the one thing to consider in comparing the two squads is that this UCLA team is full of talent whereas that poodle squad was definitely a step down from this roster. He's a defensive minded coach with a talented defense and I don't think that would have been the case in Seattle. Mora hasn't faced any real adversity just yet. I still remember Chips first game as a coach and the aftermath and he showed his mettle. I guess what I'm saying is while I am very impressed with the job he's done this season I still expect to see a Mora Meltdown from him.maxduck wrote:I wonder how the last few years would have unfolded if Jim Mora had taken the Washington Husky job in 2008. The guy can coach.
Ummm, he has a staff full of good recruiters, in a great recruiting hotbed, did good last year on short notice, doing a good job now. I don't think recruiting will ever be a issue for UCLA if the win a lil.Duck07 wrote:We'll see how he does recruiting wise over the next few years but I think the one thing to consider in comparing the two squads is that this UCLA team is full of talent whereas that poodle squad was definitely a step down from this roster.
