With the new baseball stadium cutting into the tailgating parking lot near Autzen, how has that affected tailgating? Are there a lot fewer people in that lot now? I haven't been to a game in two years and I really miss that aspect.

All of the above, I also think the amount of players we've been putting in the NFL lately has also been an impressive factor.uodux1212 wrote:What are the reasons some of these top rated kids are considering the Ducks in the last few cycles? Coaches recruiting new areas? One of the top programs not named USC on the west coast? Our offense? The uniforms? Dennis Dixon's play in 2007? Video games?
Takes?
And let's be honest, other than the schools like Notre Dame, USC, Texas, and all the upper tier teams, what school gets the next most publicity? It's Oregon. Whether it's because of our jerseys, style of player, or the fact that we are just flat out awesome, people pay attention to the ducks, and that's why IMO you've seen a raise in Oregon interest nationally.

Re: Open Topic!
Tailgating wasn't all that different last year... I think a lot of the people that were displaced by the reduction of GA spots just took their party to one of the peripheral lots around Autz... Its a little weird, but not more so than when the west side parking was eliminated to make room for the MO and the practice fields...freedjr wrote:With the new baseball stadium cutting into the tailgating parking lot near Autzen, how has that affected tailgating? Dont worry, the tailgate scene is still very much alive and well in Euge...

Re: Open Topic!
White gets his first look at TE. After that he could move to DE, LB, and heck even maybe OL if he continues to grow and add more weight.

I'll bet White never plays a down at TE his collegiate career. I think he becomes a DE and a damn good one too!
