How come we didn't get him in some baseball jerseys? If he plays baseball his scholarship still counts towards football, you gotta do something Horton! lol

Stanford's jump ball WRs really made me want Zay Rutherford. 6'2" and athletic at corner. You need a guy like that to battle the JJ Arceaga Whiteside and N'Keal Harry types.

The 6-foot-4, 230-pound jumbo athlete, out of Garfield High School (Seattle, Washington), returned home believing Oregon has all the pieces in place to be a future national title contender.
"I'm cutting my list after the season, but after that game Oregon is a contender for me," he said. "They look like a future national contender. The way Cristobal is bringing his mix of SEC ball, they are definitely a contender for me. They'll definitely make my list when I cut it."
Smalls said it wasn't the win or loss that stood out, but rather the progress of the program.
"I don't really weigh it - a win or loss doesn't matter right now," he said. "I saw potential, and Cristobal knows what he's doing. They are going upward. They went toe-to-toe with Stanford, and had the game, really. I thought the game was over. One play changed the momentum. Oregon isn't going to go down any time soon. They'll be a force to be reckoned with now that the Cristobal era has started."

The Seattle-area talent was also shocked by the noise level at Autzen Stadium.
"It was real fun," Smalls said. "I enjoyed the visit. We got to see the full atmosphere, because school wasn't in. It was crazy at that stadium. It was loud. It was one of the loudest stadiums I've ever heard, behind the Seahawks stadium."

Sounds like Rutherford didn't come due a scheduling conflict and is in the process of rescheduling, potentially for the UW game, which is shaping up to be another big recruiting weekend for both football and basketball.
