Depends on who is primary recruiter. If it’s the coach that just went to asu, may be tricky

Prentice Gill was an analyst here, so technically he wasn’t allowed to recruit at Oregon. But now he’s a position coach at ASU, so he can have direct contact. I’ll give Herm and his “I’m gonna be the CEO” style credit. He hires guys that can recruit and have connections.

Welp there is another CB for wilson to ASU. I would hate to lose this guy, hope Oregon can keep him

Slusher also visited UCLA this weekend.

hope we can also poach some other school's recruits (especially those of UW after their coaching change), since it sounds like we could lose a couple of "committed" recruits.

Feel like "committed" recruits these days = "strong interest" recruits 10-20 years ago

With recruits their word commitment is about as believable as politicians. There are a few that when say committed they truly are but the majority of them it only means at that moment and tomorrow it could be different. If I ever have kids that are good enough to get offers from schools will be sure that when my kid commits to school he means it.

I think we land one of Ringo/Manning. 50/50 on Flowe. And if we do get a few guys poached, I feel as though we will do the same come January and raid top commits from say Arizona, Cal etc like we tend to do each year.

Beau Baldwin just accepted the Cal Poly job , so that threat of Maestro going is gone.

Potential de-commits right now are: Wilson to ASU, Slusher to UCLA and Figgins (rumour of not recruiting him any more -- I think... not confirmed).

Still in play really: Manning, Ringo, Flow and potential transfers (I am thinking TE and WR)

I heard Latu as well, due to academics.

JHop just said that the expect everyone to sign besides Figgins...

Wilfong says we're making moves for Flowe, Ringo, and prospects currently committed elsewhere. (FREE: https://247sports.com/Article/Early-sig ... 140144612/)

Part of me is hoping that a slot opens for a transfer QB and a proven transfer O-Lineman. Someone else posted about 3 possible QBs being available. One was Brady White at Memphis, but I just read that he may possibly join his outgoing coach, Mike Norvell, at Florida State.

The others were Shane Buechele at SMU and Jordon Love at Utah State. I'd take either of these guys for sure.

I really do not want another transfer QB.

I feel pretty good about our QB situation next year all things considered. Would really like an OL transfer, especially an experienced center. I have zero faith in Jaramillo (who btw was at the HS state championship game shotgunning Natty Lights every time LO scored).
