2019 Early Signing Period thread
I’ve been reading about some of the recruits the ducks have been recruiting. Many are starting to “trend” to other school. It looks like the Ducks have narrowed down to just 3 more high school recruits. They appear to be all in on Flowe, Dontae Manning and Ringo. (Ringo looks like he is headed to Georgia).
This means likely finish with Flowe and Manning. (STUDS)
It makes for an incredible finish to this class.
I have also heard 1-2 recruits may not qualify. Latu being the one most discussed (i have no idea how people know this)
I am betting that Mario leaves 1-2 spots open for the transfer portal. (Maybe to add depth at QB and or TE)

I think Coates lost his spot when Jaylen Smith committed.jimmy12 wrote:Julius Coates is one.

Re: Finish revised
I wouldn't mind if we kept a spot open for a top QB transfer (Buechele, Jordan Love or Brady White?)
Otherwise, I think we have 3 potential spots to fill. How I think coaches have it prioritized:
- Flowe
- Ringo/Manning
- Darnell Washington/ DJ Rogers/ Jack Yary
- Jayson Jones
- WR (Gary Bryant, Jeremiah Hunter)
Maybe some backup plans at LB if we miss on Flowe but I think that's about it for targets remaining. Am I missing anyone?

Jhop thinks Rogers and Washington are out. They don't have a spot
Stroud may have a spot but he's leaning tOSU
They want Flowe and one of Ringo or Manning. All are 5 stars or will be

Is Stroud even feasible at this point? He cancelled his visit last weekend.Duckenstein wrote:Jhop thinks Rogers and Washington are out. They don't have a spot

According to JHop it was the staff who moved his visit. They didn't want him here at the same time as Butterfield.HomeSickDuck wrote:Is Stroud even feasible at this point? He cancelled his visit last weekend.Duckenstein wrote:Jhop thinks Rogers and Washington are out. They don't have a spot

Oh I see. If that’s the case, I’m really hoping we have a shot with him. He’s going to be a stud. Also, has anyone heard anything about Flowe and USC? Just doesn’t feel good when he’s visiting a couple days before his commitment when they weren’t even in his top 4.Phenom wrote:According to JHop it was the staff who moved his visit. Re: Finish revised
I don't see a lot in this thread about it, but we should probably get ready for some defections. Sounds like Johnny Wilson might be bolting for ASU, and there are a few DB recruits that have always been rumored to have one foot out.

I’ve heard some rumblings about Wilson as well. He did just visit asu a few weeks back too.

Re: Finish revised
I think Wilson is a tight end. He's huge, but his rating is too high.
