Interesting. I’ve seen other reports claiming it’s 14 spots still open

It hasn't been that high since before last weekend.buckmarkduck wrote: Mon Jan 19, 2026 12:58 pm Interesting. I’ve seen other reports claiming it’s 14 spots still open

Kamar Mothudi is headed to Cal, the 4th former Duck to do so.

Oregon has added 2026 Arizona RB signee Brandon Smith after he got his NLI release this weekend.

Feels like the type of commit Oregon would get back in the Pac-10/12 days. Good late pickup!
Oregon now has #2 class of 2026.

Sounds like Seaton still hasn't left Baton Rouge like everyone expected.

I’d be shocked if he doesn’t commit to LSU. I’m sure he’s enjoying all of the attention.

Seaton is a great player, so not going to say anything other than, yeah, he and his uncle/agent enjoy the love and attention.
I'm going to bang the MLB drum into next season if it doesn't get filled. I'm just baffled as to what our plan is there. Maybe Gavin Nix is that dude.

I'm in the same boat you are. I think if we run our existing offensive line pieces out there, we're probably a top 20 line with a top 10 ceiling.GrantDuck wrote: Tue Jan 20, 2026 1:18 am Seaton is a great player, so not going to say anything other than, yeah, he and his uncle/agent enjoy the love and attention.

If we run our existing linebackers out there, I'm not sure where to set the line. Middle-ish of P4? I liked the class of Williams, Platt and Mothudi when they came in, but one has gone and the others have barely played. It will still be a while before they peak.

Yeah, I still don’t understand the logic of not taking at least one proven linebacker in the portal. Even if Platt and Williams end up being good, neither have seen any significant minutes in meaningful games, so it still a roll of the dice to go into the season with them when they’re completely unknowns. Mixon was pretty good last year. Jackson has all the physical abilities, but just seemed to be out of place a lot. It just doesn’t make sense to me to gamble like that with the rest of the roster at national title level (plus an o lineman or 2).StevensTechU wrote: Tue Jan 20, 2026 8:46 amI'm in the same boat you are. He's basically LSU's to lose now after skipping out on his Oregon visit.

Apparently Kiffin took Seaton to dinner at the governor’s house. I guess good for Seaton to get this much money and attention but honestly, is he worth that much? I get he’s a really good LT but this seems quite excessive.
I’m having a hard time imagining Dan taking a recruit to Tina Kotek’s house for dinner.

Vander Ploog has committed to NC State.
Luke Moga is now the sole remaining Duck left in the portal who hasn't found a new school.

Interesting that neither Novosad or Moga ended up at Kentucky

It lends credibility to the idea that Brock Thomas legitimately passed both of them on the depth chart, and that it wasn't for any off-field reason.lmduck wrote: Tue Jan 20, 2026 3:12 pm Interesting that neither Novosad or Moga ended up at Kentucky
