yep they hit the slide. bounced back and took 2/3 in anaheim, including a win over previously 15-1 jered weaver. not much consistency to this team, but with as young as they are that's probably to be expected. montero is playing lights out, which is GREAT to see. he is the future of this lineup.

Which is making the trade more palatable for me for now. I still think that one could come back to haunt us in a big way.

For the last decade the Mariners have been getting high draft picks, they need to start winning not getting high picks.

i loved the trade. we've got elite level arms coming up the pipes, and we had next to no legitimate offensive threats. have to give up quality to get quality.

it's uncanny how many high draft picks bill bavasi whiffed on. what a horrible, horrible era that was. losing + no hope.

Sweet, btw who is this Stephen Pryor? Never heard of him before, but could be a beast in the making.

Felix was amazing/dominating, I caught the last four innings and he struck out the side in the sixth and eigth each. He also struck out two in the ninth and finished the game with 12 strikeouts, he has a 1.56 era in his last 12 starts with 4 shutouts. Stud!!!
