The mariners just used 6 pitchers to throw a no hitter, Kevin Millwood went six before leaving with a injury. Good job M's!!

I wonder if that is a record for most pitchers involved in a no-no? I remember when the A's used 5 about 30 years ago.

edit: I googled it, and the game I remembered was in 1975 and only involved 4 pitcherts. The Astros, did however, use 6 in 2003 to defeat the despised Yankees.

I believe 2003 was the last time with six pitchers, third no hitter in mariners team history

It might have said multiple pitchers ten times. Wasn't really paying attention

That was incredible as well. I'm afraid M's won't be good at all this decade.

How many times have they said that for Pittsburgh? And look what happens when we land some nice young talent, we trade it. (ie Fister)

M's don't have the fiscal luxury as some of the bigger teams, we will bring up some awesome young players, but they won't last here.

It's my mariners, I have full faith in their ability to blow it.

His injury aside, I'm still afraid that the Pineda/Montero trade is going to come back to haunt the Mariners.

Injury is a huge thing for a pitcher. Plus, the M's farm system is full of talented arms.

Mariners need ALOT of offense, they have scored 12 runs in their last six games. 3 of those were in the ninth the other night and lost anyways, their offense has been DREADFUL now three straight years. These pitchers in the minors are going to have to be amazing the way the offensive is.

The Mariners are garbage.

Just look at all the terrible moves they have made over the past decade.
