Closing on these guys has been a problem at Oregon forever. It seems we're a good option for a lot of these kids until something better comes along, so we get early commits from our #1 targets.
We'll see what happens with Ezeike and Williams, but it appears for now that being USC's or UCLA's 2nd and 3rd options still ends up beating us out at the deadline and leaves us scrambling.

Oregon has a hard time competing at the end since USC and UCLA are in these kids' backyards and there's a lot of pressure to stay home.

FWIW, UCLA just took an extra WR/TE.

If the ducks end up with Williams and Tucker to go with Hall and Crocker, I don't see how that is a bad class. I know the cupboard feels a bit bare on the current roster (I just heard a report that one of the walk-ons is getting more time with both Herbert and Burmeister), but adding four to the guys they already have seems like it should be plenty, doesn't it?

Sounds like Tucker will get an offer if/when the other guys all go elsewhere but I question whether they need another WR just to take one

In all fairness Tuckers film is wonderful. He looks like a candidate for catch and GONE.

Does anyone know if the staff took a run at Gunner Romney?

Sounds like nobody really knows anything about the big 3: DWilliams, Ezeike, or Sewell.

Go Ducks! Let's at least get Sewell and Williams.

It sounds like they are confident at USC that they will land both Ezeike and Williams, and at least have a shot at Sewell. A lot of Cockle-Doodle-Dooing coming from down south about the big day they are going to have tomorrow. Not sure where they are getting the room to take all these guys, but there is also a rumor about one of their CB targets going to Alabama instead, so that probably frees up another spot.

At the point I'll settle for one of Williams, Ezeike, or Harrison to go with JJ Tucker.

Either Sewell or one of the defensive linemen, Ojomo (committing tonight) or Ossai.

Would love to hang on to Winston and Johnson. If we don't get either one it will be a disaster.
