Bru McCoy changed his mind and decided he wanted to be at SC. Chris Steele changed his mind (multiple times) and decided he wanted to be a Trojan. Three players who entered the transfer portal (DB Greg Johnson, WR Velus Jones, and now QB Matt Fink) have all changed their minds and are staying at USC. Obviously nothing suspicious, just really good fortune for Clay Helton.

Chris could have really benefited from the business school. After BA101 he could have explained to his mom that you're not limited to one job, and you are, in fact, allowed to find a new one after you get laid off.
I just read The Athletic article. Basically he's very complimentary of Oregon, wishes he could have gone there, and this is what swung the pendulum. Canine doody. USC is desperate and they're using the USC network, which they tout to all recruits. Watch Mrs. Steele find a new job with a raise in no time.
