Dont know if its been posted or not yet, but a guy form TOS made his way onto the vols forum and told everyone that the consensus in Miami is that TN is the team to beat for browns signiture. The vol fans asked the miami fans what they though of the poster who left the comment, and everyone said he was one of their most reliable posters. The other fans believe it too.
Quote:
That's what we all heard today. Him and Oku picture themselves as being the next great RB tandem. Congrats. Both are Butler boys so it makes sense. Another rumor today was that Arthur was in Randy's office and it doesn't sound good for us. I'm just hoping he's not transferring.
SUPPOSEDLY
The Brown's have been looking at homes in the Knoxville vicinity, fwiw.

BS, they're just trying to kick up some dust. I think they forgot that Bryce has said many a time that he favors the "O"

Example of a post that might appear on a message board: "Rumors over on some Oregon message boards is that BB already lives in Eugene and is enrolled in classes. But Brian Butler says he is still committed to Miami. I also heard that Arthur Brown walked into Shannon's office and performed a hostile takeover of the program. He will be a player coach starting immediately. The Brown family has been apparently spotted looking for deals on real estate in the area, but they don't plan on living there.... just for investment purposes."

Whoa I didn't realize we were blowing those other programs out so badly in rushing YPG. I knew we were high, but we've more than doubled the production of some of those "national powers".UOducksTK1 wrote:Bryce, do what's best for you...

tennessee fans are the most arrogant bunch out there. However that crew down there can recruit. I don't see Oku and Brown going to the same school.
The Miami bunch is a scared bunch right now, they knew they were not landing Brown. I dont know about the Arthur deal but who knows.

I remember laughing at Clemson fans when they thought they had Boyd all locked up despite coming in at the last second and him only giving their visit an 8.5. Yet, he still chose to go there. Here we are again.....
I don't know what to think. All I know is that it will all be over soon and I will be glad to have this behind us.

That was a completely different situation, IMO. We all know Boyd's mom made that decision, not him. It didn't really matter what he thought or which school he really liked, he was going where momma wanted him.karlhungis wrote:I remember laughing at Clemson fans when they thought they had Boyd all locked up despite coming in at the last second and him only giving their visit an 8.5. Re: Keep ur hat on tight BBrown is gonna be a bumpy landing.3.16
I sometimes wonder what kinds of players we would have been able to land the last few years had parents let their sons go where they wanted. We would have had those two 4* WR's from back east in the '08 class and Boyd this year. I sure hope this doesn't happen to us again with BB. One would hope that if Bryce wants to be a Duck, that his parents would let him follow his heart and his dreams.
