Tennessee coach Lane Kiffin had some stinging last words for Alshon Jeffrey, one of the nation's top wide receivers, according to ESPN.com. Jeffrey of St. Matthews, S.C., signed with South Carolina last month after an intense recruiting battle with Southern Cal and Tennessee. According to ESPN's Chris Lowe, "Kiffin told Jeffrey that if he chose the Gamecocks, he would end up pumping gas for the rest of his life like all the other players from that state who had gone to South Carolina."

All I'm saying is that ever since his visit in november he has said oregon is his leader. Before his Tennessee visit he said oregon was his leader. Now oregon seems to be one of his final two. I dont know I don't want to get my hopes up but it just seems to add up

Tennessee is at best a middle of the road SEC program at this juncture with Florida, LSU, Georgia, and Alabama in front of them. Ole Miss is the up and comer in the SEC and some may argue that they don't belong in front of Tennessee. However, I will point them to the cotton bowl, a top 25 finish, some stellar recruiting, and most importantly they aren't rebuilding. I am also waiting for Spurrier to break out at the other USC. Anyway, there might be some tough sledding for BB if he chooses UT with Kiffin not being a proven commodity. Oregon's stability should be a plus for us.

I don't think many people really say that. I think LSU has a shot and Miami is possible, though it sounds like they might of taken themselves out of it. BB hasn't eliminated anyone yet. But UO and Tenn do sound like the best bets at this point.

True WoundedKnees, true, but he also had some talent, and a lot of media exposure, you remember that issue of ESPN magazine where he got the cover. I also remember a 200 + yard game he had in the NFL playing with the Viks, not to mention the greatest single game rushing record in Oregon Football history with the 285 yard performance against Washington St, back in 01.
