House Warming?

Post by wheaton4prez »

The Pac expansion to 12 has happened. But, I feel like I have very little familiarity with Utah and Colorado. At least not compared to the Pac-10 schools whom I feel like I know quite a bit about...

Anyone else feel that way? How long before they seem more like part of the Pac? Is it just a matter of hosting some home games with them?

It's still hard for me to see the Arizona teams as part of the PAC

I suspect that you don't really know another fan base until they beat your team. :D

Considering they've really only been a part of the conference for about 3 months, that feeling is to be expected. I say we'll see how good of a fit they are in about 3-4 years after playing them multiple times.

From what I've seen of Utah and CU fans on the pac12 board is this. Utah fans are 1 step from being as bad as Boise fans and CU fans are as delusional as UW fans.

Really? I haven't seen anything negative from them yet...

I know it's early. I'm just wondering what form "getting to know" them is going to take. Where do I begin this research? :)

Just got back from a trip to CU and Utah with the volleyball team: What I took from the trip:
CU: Couldn't care less about athletics...or school...or anything really.
Utah: The new kid on the block who thinks they can run with the big boys. Found them annoying and feeling entitled to a top spot in the Pac as if consistent MWC championships are equivilent. Never had beef with them before but now I hope they are shown how we do things for a long time to come
In Helfrich, Frost, and Allioti we trust
