2010 WR Kyle Prater...

Post by woundedknees »

Any interest in the Ducks? if not, we can hope one of the guys currently committed, such as Gaines, Jackson, Tuinei, or Braxton, can pull off some of the moves in these videos... Some of these catches are phenominal!

And he knows how to use a stiff arm, too!

If we can get him into a football uniform, I think that Braxton Lane will suprise some people.

I was actually trying to find some info on Lane this morning, to get a better idea of his potential status in the upcoming baseball draft... So far, not a lot of luck.

He was listed as the #65 prospect last summer, by Perfect Game Cross Checker, at www.pgcrosschecker.com.

Not being a paying member on any of the premium baseball sites, I was unable to obtain more current iinformation.

I sincerely hope he comes to Oregon. This could be beautiful.

Because they're Scout. Anything positive about the Ducks could hurt the Huskies.

They have that Chris Courtney kid just calling prospects and doing write ups on them. I know they say they are targeting kids that have interest in Oregon, but that target is pretty broad and most kids will tell you they are interested in your school when you call to be polite. I guess if nothing else it's at least entertainment.

To get hits to the website. One of the many reasons rivals >>>>>>>> scout.

can i be the messenger of somewhat bad news? why yes!...i shall. i seem to be fascinated with all things recruiting this early in the game (ok, that was a lie) and especially all this WR talk. looking at the scholie breakdown that Chip just emailed me (2 pulling guards and a partridge in a pear tree! shhhhh), we might only have about 3 wr's in this class and i keep on reading about all these wr's we've "allegedly" offered. i just doubt that some of the kids who say we've offered is actually true.

that's all. no real ending to this post. no cool way to wrap this up. just a bye for now and slight guarantee of annoyance at a later date. :geek:

They actually need to offer a lot of kids at WR to get the few spots they want filled. If you put all of your Chips in one basket you may not get top caliber commits.
