Great to hear that Ethan Grant is actively trying to persuade Ivan to become a Duck. Hopefully Ivan realizes it would be better to play for offensive mastermind Chip Kelly rather than Randy Shannon, who is a very mediocre coach at best.

This will come down to wether coach kelly wants him or not. Right now Oregon is very much in the mix and probably could have got a commitment from him already but since you guys are only taking 1 WR this year the coaches want to see him this spring 1 more time before they let him pull the trigger. I just hope it isn't too late.

I know Frost the WR coach had a couple other guys higher on the list. But they are longer shots from what I know.
I'm surprised to hear that McCartney is that high on Oregon. I knew he liked UM pretty well too. Hope Dunbar decommitment doesn't screw up our chances with McCartney, kid runs routes like it's his business.

We are Oregon, not Oklahoma, USC, or Florida. Unfortunately, we do not have the luxury of playing the waiting game on recruits. IMO, we need to take whomever we can get if they want to come instead of playing a game of chicken with 18 yr olds and their parents. if Ivan would verbal now, you follow up on that!

A verbal right now means nothing. Why blow your chances with other top WR prospects if your not sold on Ivan quite yet?
