That would be awesome for Paulus. Playing basketball for Duke and football for Michigan would be something. If Paulus is good enough, Forcier can wait a year.

That won't happen. Paulus's ship has sailed in regards to football.duckgrad99 wrote:That would be awesome for Paulus. Playing basketball for Duke and football for Michigan would be something. If Paulus is good enough, Forcier can wait a year.

No, he can play football at a D-1 school next year without having to sit out a year. Since he didn't redshirt at Duke & he is set to graduate in June, he can enroll in a graduate program at a D-1 school. Paulus was on pti yesterday, and if he isn't play football at Mich, Syracuse or some other school with a QB opening then he will probably enter the NFL draft.goducks75 wrote:That won't happen. I'm happy as hell for the guy...what a talent to have these types of choices!
DUKE BB to MICH QB or the NFL as either a WR or DB no doubt...not to shabby!

Re: Tate Forcier's competition:
Yeah, it's possible for it to happen, but it won't happen. He would have to join a team in the summer, workout, condition, gain weight, AND remember how to play football after not playing for four years. It would be absolutely amazing if he could pull it off, but I highly doubt he will. Tate Forcier is much farther along.Duckxing wrote:No, he can play football at a D-1 school next year without having to sit out a year.
