Demetrius Wright recently named Oregon/Arizona as co-leaders, but just got an SC offer and almost committed on the spot. That's not good. Said he will still take visits.
Also Alex Crosthwaite will be here this weekend for spring game he mentions, claims no offer but may walk out with one.

Re: Updates from Greg Biggins
After we signed Benyard, a member here from the San Diego area mentioned to me that there was another big time OL to come out of that school, this time for the 2010 class. Alex Crosthwaite was the player he was referring to.

not that i'm breaking any new news here but kids from Socal are force fed UCLA and USC their ENTIRE lives (TV, radio, paper, family) and no matter how strong a pull they have towards an out of state school, if one of those LA schools offer them, it's super hard to say no to because they have to face their friends every day at school and having their friends mock them if they do turn down UCLA or SC. So if Wright picks SC, let's not be that shocked.

That's how it is everywhere but the state of Oregon.[/quote]
Hey, we have to face the facts...
These kids are still kids and SoCal, with its warmer, dryer climate and lots of lil hot bodies with tons of skin showin, out trumps wet, rainy and cold, with the girls wearing dry suits...Really, at that age, where would you wanna live....?

Re: Updates from Greg Biggins
Crosswhite played on the opposite side of the O-line from Benyard last year. One of the volunteer coaches at Cathedral recently told me he is very good, better than Benyard. I believe Cathedral will scrimmage against Scripps Ranch ( Clay ) week after next. We plan on attending and will report.
We saw J Neal scouting Crosswhite last year, he should get an offer. The "big word" at Cathedral is a reports that one of the top spread QBs in Texas is transferring in.
