i think Armstead could = Kamyron + outside shot + fewer turnovers, but that's just my guess. he was the top JC PG after only 1 year.

my ideal lineup & rotation would look like this now:

starters:
Armstead
Porter
Humphrey
Wilson
Dunigan

off the bench:
Sim
Longmire
Wiley
Catron
Crittle

redshirt two of these if possible:
Teondre
Singler
Jacob

dude I like your starters and bench, the only change would be Sim and Armstead starting instead of him and Porter, Porter needs to come off the bench in short bursts. I do not think porter is a full game time player, more of a special shooter type not an all around point guard

I would go with:
Armstead
Humphrey
Longmire
Catron / Wilson
Dunigan

Porter - 6th man
Other Guards off bench - Sim then Wiley
Bigs off bench - Crittle, Catron or Wilson, then Jacob

Redshirt - Williams and Singler


Justification:
You almost have to start Armstead, as he is the only true PG on the roster. Sim doesn't have the ballhandling skills or the speed to push and Porter lacks size and the ability to find open teammates. Both very decent SGs in Oregon's offense IMHO and I am happy to see them in Oregon uniforms. I just don't like guys being forced to play out of position. Brandon Lincoln was another decent player that was a victim of being forced to play the PG position for a few seasons (much like Porter and Sim last season). Dunigan is the clear starter at Center. Catron probably starts at one of the forward positions because of experience, but is taken over by Wilson mid-way through the season. Humphrey really started to play better the last few games of the season. He looks to me like the best option at SG. I like Longmire's length, athletic ability, and slashing style. I am predicting a huge jump in his game this season. I think Porter is clearly the 6th man and should be used in a James Davis type roll. He could be a huge spark coming off the bench for this team

Switch LL with Humphrey for me and you've got my starters. I think only two of those three will likely redshirt, though I'm not sure which two. Otherwise, good lineup.

Both are clearly SGs in a PG body. You can't run either at point and be successful.

Sim has potential, maybe down the road, to play PG. But he's not ready right now.

Armstead should be the starter @ PG next season unless he totally flops.

Ok correct me if I'm wrong but where is this kid listed as the top JC PG? Isn't he "the most sought after" at this point because most other PGs have already signed with a team? This whole "top PG" thing seems like a big load of BS.

Having Porter and Armstead in the backcourt together kind of scares me for defensive purposes. That leaves us a TINY backcourt. Although we did it with Brooks and Porter so hopefully it can work out. We really need someone to step up as a scorer next season on the outside(Humphrey?) and one of the big guys to be a 13/7 guy to take the pressure off Porter. If he is our #1 option again we arent going to do well. He is at best a #2 scorer but his size limits him from being the go to go. Which we saw last year.
