Our chances have to increase. But I don't see how he would come in and start over Talmadge Jackson. Not to mention we still have Glasper.

Re: So with Bryd going to the NFL
I don't know what it does with harris but I think the depth chart is deep enough that we don't have to start a true freshman such as harris (were he to come to oregon) as we have had to do in the past with players like gibson and binns. As previously mentioned glasper and jackson are very good and have been in the system for a while (although most would argue NA's system doesn't really require corner backs to do much but be on an island and stop every wide receiver with man coverage).

Makes you appreciate even more the opportunity to redshirt Anthony Gildon this year.

Damn bad bad news. At least we are deep at CB and FS and all those positions. I don't understand this decision, IMO he isn't ready.

Mr. Crim...come on down. We have a starting spot just open up and you have the chance to take it for two more years.

I noticed Crim is visiting South Florida tommorow. Hopefully we get him and Harris.

Re: So with Bryd going to the NFL
I really like all the JC & HS combos we are getting.
LB - Littlejohn & Clay/BoLo,
DE - Clark & Hart/Anderson,
DB - Anthony Leon & Patterson/Harris,
WR - Gaines & Jackson//Wheaton/Johnson.
Bring in a guy to fill an immediate need & another to be the long term solution. Our coaches definitely know what they are doing.

Byrd may still change his mind, I believe he still has 72 hrs from midnight tonight to withdraw his name.ducksball wrote:Damn bad bad news. At least we are deep at CB and FS and all those positions. I don't understand this decision, IMO he isn't ready.
