Keenan Allen has Top 3

Except I'm not a rivlas member anymore so I can't read the subscriber-only articles. If somebody out there could check it out and let us know, that'd be great.

Thank You. So we're in the top 3 for Keenan Allen and Gabe King, and we're on top for Chris McCain, and last I heard we were on top for James Scales too. Looks like we might pull some prospects from North Carolina, huh? Let's hope so.

Now pretty much of all them have Oregon in their top schools and one of the schools they want to visit.

Just echoing what I said earlier. Getting players to visit is very huge for a program like Oregon. Players don't really think much of Oregon other than we are a "cool" team. But once they visit, not only do they appreciate the jerseys and facilities even more, but they get to see how great of a college town Eugene is. You'll notice most the NC guys comment on how nice the weather and campus was.

Anyway, it'd be awesome to get some of these NC guys to pull the trigger.

The great thing about a 'package deal', is that you automatically negate a ;arge portion of the "homesickness factor"... Something that might have made a difference with Chris Harper, had his buddy, Bryce Brown, chosen Oregon.

(Not that I think the Ducks will greatly miss either of those guys in the long run.)

Getting Keenan is the key to all of these guys. If he goes Oregon he wont be the only NC player we get IMO. Should he go to Bama, I'm not optimistic on our chances with the others.
But this is recruiting we shall see. This is an opinion not fact.

I know this is redundant (sp?). But boy the BSU game - one of the first of the entire season and on ESPN - is going to so important. I would imagine ALL of these guys will be watching. If we could pull of a 08 Civil War type of performance, the electricity... IMO their disire to be plugged into such a team would skyrocket. WE NEED to show up big for that game. First impression type of senerio as we are practically the first game of the entire season and the world will be watching. It may end up being the big turning point for a lot these fence sitters - one way or the other.

No humidity here is actually very attractive to people from the East coast, especially from the south.
