Finally Ducks offer Devon Dunn
Rivals reporting Dunn now has an offer. This kid is an amazing RB. I've watched him play several times. Excellent DB and fantastic kick off returner. He is really off everyone's radar. I'm surprised Scouts and rivals haven't discovered him. He is at least a 3 star player.

Is Dunn a senior? Didn't really look hard, but no luck finding anything on him on Google.

Re: Finally Ducks offer Devon Dunn
Are we talking about the kid from Piscataway HS (Known as the Chiefs), in New Jersey?
if so, in 2007, he played OL/DL, at 5'11"/205... He's now listed as a QB/LB. In 2008, Dunn's team won the New Jersey Section 2/Division 4 Championship game 38-0 over Hunterdon Central. Piscataway's running back, Stephen Miller, ran for 206 yards on 25 carries.
Whoever he is, he isn't easy to find...

I believe that ducksvb6 is referring to Davon Dunn, the WR/CB prospect from San Diego. Here are the links to his profiles on Scout and Rivals:

Thanks Vinny. I wonder why he's off the radar. No matter, if Chip likes him, hope he makes it to Oregon!

Apologies guys. I'm on the road and I posted on Davon Dunn , my bad I spelled Davon with an e and that lead to the confusion. Family medical emergency in Pheonix so I've been a little distracted.
He was San Diego Pigskin Player of the Week - Week 3. I believe he was nominated several other times.

Any idea what position he's being recruited as? WR, DB, RB, KO, PR, sounds like he can do it all.ducksvb6 wrote:Apologies guys. Re: Finally Ducks offer Devon Dunn
Actually we talked to J Neal at one of his games last year. At the time Neal said he was one of the top RB prospects this year so the emphasis then appeared to be as a RB. That may have change based on the high quality of DBs look at Oregon this year. He would be an outstanding punt KO returner and a lighting back because of his size.
My concern with Dunn is the potential SDSU will get him with a promise to play as a freshman.
FYI. My mom is out of the hospital...wild three day. Everything is OK now.
