Draft Watch.net/2003

The next one?

Image

There has rarely been a player as hyped as our lead this year. This kid out of St. Vincent–St. Mary Academy in Akron, Ohio has been scouted since his freshman year. That year he put up 21ppg with a cool 5 assists thrown in. Next year he was up to 25 ppg and was Mr.Ohio in basketball and an all american. Since then he has had every NBA scouting department and big college program scouting him. Now in his senior year he is topping thirty point per game and has been the reigning Mr.Basketball and looking to be a third straight all-american. There have been a ton of rumors that he was looking to enter the draft this year and has been tapped as the first overall pick no matter when he comes out. This kid can score, pass, and rebound, to steal a baseball term, this kid is a five tool player. Keep an eye on this one folks, cause he is special.

The new BRoy on the Block

Image

There is a freshman that has taken the pac 12 by storm this year, and they were not even sure that he would be on campus much less lighting up the court. Brandon Roy, a local prospect out of Seattle, was a well documented case of a player that overcame much just to be on the court. He was the first of his family to attend higher ed. The problem is that Brandon Roy has a minor learning disability that made it extremely difficult for him to pass standardized test. Only after extensive tutoring and a fourth crack at the SAT test did Roy get the necessary aggregate score to enroll at Washington. Since landing on campus he has hit it running. With non-conference play wrapping up he has put up a very respectable 15/6/4. While these numbers may drop when the tough pac 12 gets started reports out of Seattle Times have linked Roy with an early departure to maybe capitalize on his success and pay his family back, including a reported child on the way. While young, Roy look like he has the build to take him as far as his knees will carry him.

I can't lie. It would be rather funny to see LeBron go to college for four years

Probably be a good idea, idk how old he was when he came ouot but Zyme has made it known that the players coming out of high school get the weird random number potential

Well Lebron should come out pretty ready. He wasn't raw as a rookie.
