Brandon Roy C+ C+ C C+ C- A

The guard out of Washington was one of of the most explosive players in the country this season. With players like the Lukes at Oregon and Arizona (Ridnour, Jackson and Walton) the Pacific-10 was stacked this season. After a competitive season and tournament Washington found itself runner up to champion Arizona and a second round exit to eventual champion Syracuse. Roy has excellent balance and has the next great guard written all over him, as long as his knees can hold up over the long haul.

Aleksandar Pavlovic C C+ C C+ C- A

Aleksandar "Saša" ("Sasha") Pavlovic This Yugo of the Montenegrin persuasion is one of those classic players who are stuck between positions. He is partly a shooting guard and partly a forward without out a real position he has settle on. He is a very good defender with range and a solid eye for the passing lane. One of the fastest players you will meet he loves running the break. He can soar but lacks the strength to be a full time small forward. Scouts love his potential, but worry that his lack of a true position harms him in the long run.

Willie Green C+ C+ C C C- B

Green is was nearly an unknown until he showed up to the combine as one of the obligatory tiny school studs. Out of the tiny private Detroit Mercy Catholic Univerity. He averaged an excellent 23/5 with 3 assists thrown in for good measure. He has a sweet stroke from deep and many thing that if he develops he could challenge Korver and Kopono for the top outside threat of this class. The major concern for Green is the level he played at as many scouts are worried that his lower competition will harm his overall top end prospects.

Jason Kopono C- B C- D D+ B

What can you say about Kopono other than he loves to stroke it. The deep ball expert out of UCLA has a pure release an a very accurate eye even from the deepest of ranges. The biggest issue that will hold him back is his lack of defense will likely relegate him to 6th man or high end rotation player. Scouts think he has very good upside but his defense just is not very good.

Michael Pietrus C+ C C B C B

This defensive specialist comes from the mid-table League 1 side Élan Béarnais Pau-Orthez from Pau, France. He was easily their best player last year, despite his age. He is a decent enough slasher to not be a burden but where he excels is on the defenive side. He is the defensive guard in the class with solid upside. He should be making a rotation for some time.
