Jatashun Beachum

Post by bigsugarduck »

Where do we stand on him??? Haven't heard anything in ages. There was an article last friday saying he is set to announce sept 1st...not to long to find out. :D Scout lists Oregon and Kansas as HIGH interest and everyone else as Medium. Some pretty good schools on the list but I'm hoping that Scout has it right and its down to the Ducks and Kansas....because I think we are a better draw than Kansas...

P.s. did he visit over the summer?
Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."

I don't know where the Ducks stand. But I do know I don't trust Scout to ever have things right.

We don't want him, trust me
I heard he tried to commit to Kansas but that he measured in at I think 5'11" 295 and they backed off
There's a reason he doesn't have an offer
"Huard's gonna go back to throw the ball. Sets up, looks, throws towards the corner of the endzone. It is... INTERCEPTED! INTERCEPTED! THE DUCKS HAVE THE BALL! Down to the 35! The 40! KENNY WHEATON'S GONNA SCORE!!! KENNY WHEATON'S GONNA SCORE!!! 20! THE 10! TOUCHDOWN!!! KENNY WHEATON, AN INTERCEPTION!!! THE MOST IMPROBABLE FINISH TO A FOOTBALL GAME!!!"

Yep, I reported that on DT's premium board a month ago.

He never had an offer and won't get one, don't trust Scout's database, it's rarely every updated and is pretty inaccurate. DT's megaboard or DSA's offer list are better resources.

It sounds like the kid is a pretty good athlete, if his 40 time is right. Does he have attitud problems or is he just lazy and fat?

Not sure, but Oregon will not offer and the only way he comes here to play is as a walk on.

Well nevermind then! He had a bunch of hype on here but I guess it was unfounded...

Before narrowing things down to Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Kansas, Baylor, Florida, and Tennessee, Beachum had over 20 offers.

He decides September 1st.
